The Lord Jesus said that not the smallest letter, not least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Bible, however, there are a dozen books that have disappeared from the Bible.
Moreover, the Quran is not likely to be damaged either by increasing or by reducing demand or the less movement of a pen or a shred of it.
This is because of Allah, the Almighty is the guardian of the Koran.
The lost books of the Bible:
That saved the Bible?
The Bible is saved by man.
The Lord Jesus (peace be upon him) said:
Matthew 5:18 (New Living Translation International)
To tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

For verily I say that until we move heaven and earth pass, one jot or tittle in no wise pass of the law, till all be fulfilled.
It follows that the Bible is not damaged.
However, there are some books that are mentioned in the Bible, but not found, ie they disappeared!
Examples of such books:
1) Where is the book of the wars of the LORD?
Numbers 21:14
As it is said in the book of the wars of Jehovah, which he did in the Red Sea, and in the brooks of Arnon,
2) Where is the book of Jasher?
Joshua 10:13
And the sun stood still and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book Jasher? So the sun stood in mid heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
3) Where is the book of Acts of Solomon?
1 Kings 11:41
And the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all he did, and his wisdom, are they not written in the Book of Acts of Solomon?
4) When they are written in the lamentations?
2 Chronicles 35:25
And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah, and all the singers and women singing spoke of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made them an ordinance in Israel, and behold they are written in the lamentations.
5) Where is the law of the Lord
2 Chronicles 35:26
Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and his goodness, according to what was written in the law of the LORD,
6) Where is the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
2 Kings 23:28
Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and everything he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
7) Where is the book of Nathan the prophet?
Where is the prophecy of Ahijah Shilonite?
9) Where is the book of the visions of Iddo the seer?
2 Chronicles 9:29
Now, the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and prophecy of Ahijah Silonite, and the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nabat?
10) Where is the book of the sayings of the seers?
2 Chronicles 33:19
His prayer also and how God prayed for him and all his sins, and his rebellion, and the places where he built high places, and create forests and graven images, before being humbled: behold it is written in the words of the seers.
11) Where is the history book of the prophet Iddo?
2 Chronicles 13:22
And the rest of the acts of Abijah, and his ways and his sayings, are written in the history of the prophet Ido.
12) Where is the book spoken by the prophets, who said that
1) He shall dwell in a city called Nazareth and / or
2) He shall be called a Nazarene
Matthew 2:23
And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets will be called a Nazarene
The Lost Books the Quran:
Sura 15:9
QARIB: we who sent down the Qur'an, and watch over them.
SHAKIR: surely We have sent the notice and the safer it is to tutor
Pickthal: lo! , We, revealed the reminder, and oh! We say, yes, his tutor.
Yusufali: we have certainly sent the message, and their custodians (of corruption).
This verse indicates that the Koran is not likely to be damaged either by increased or decreased by any letter or the least stroke of a pen or a shred of it.
This is because the Almighty Allah is the guardian of the Koran.
