Not a literal interpretation of this verse says that if Christians are truly humble and truly turned from their evil ways and truly sought God, then he will heal our land? Therefore, it is the denigration of society actually caused by fundamentalist Christians, not unbelievers. So, why all the preaching to the unconverted .. instead of making your home …. Finally, If Christians are really the people who should be, not to heal the world?
Christ told us to love God with our whole heart and treat others we want to be treated. This definitely applies to Christians, but "Golden Rule" is a simple rule that anyone, religious or nonreligious, may follow. If all humans did, we can heal the world.
