What’s the test to see if you have this disease?
Someone at my school was diagnosed with freakin tuberculosis and everyones getting a test on Monday & Tues next week. Hows the test done? Don’t tell me needles! :/

It’s done by injecting a very small amount of liquid under the skin. Two days later, the area is checked for a reaction.

What is the "fair price" for a rescue dog?
What is enough? These dogs are neutered / spayed and day on their vaccinations. The relief organization probably not the best but they try to help you … They are asking too much? I do not think about adopting. This situation is happening in my community right now. Some shout "thief" in the cost of adoption, while others face relief, citing costs screening, spay / neuter, food, etc. I say this because I am curious to know what others think. If you read the comments below the article, you will see that the comments are all over the place. Thank you all for the replies so far.
I foster care for a rescue group in my area. Do not set the adoption fees – just open my house to the house of a volunteer rescue to adopted. I noticed that for my rescue group, adoption rates vary between $ 150 – $ 500. Many times the rescuers get to spend thousands of dollars in health of a dog and adopt it for $ 300. Only recently have had to take care of a collar built in an almost dead poodle. She was approached by two weeks to recover from extensive surgery. Costs far exceed the cost that was approved in mind. So slip into debt in many cases. There are times, however, get a litter of puppies perfect health dumped on them and charge a higher rate of these puppies … Just because babies are more desirable in any case, the difference in rate gives the age, "Less pretty" dogs a chance of adoption. Therefore, these "rescue" is not something that is agreed. I would say that as the medical examination, vaccination and spay / neuter are covered, the costs of rescue are accurate. Most of the dog rescue nonprofit and barely afford to stay afloat financially, as it is.
