law man chronicles

Christians, this question can demolish your faith if you dare Read?
Entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all his heart and soul, and all those who seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be sentenced to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB) I thought God wanted people to love him sincerely. It is evident that God is forcing people to believe in him. And death? How come God is so cruel and thirsty blood? Putting both death warrants in the Bible is simply absurd. Kill gays, witches kill, kill the unbelievers, kill brats, etc. These laws were for Israel, but did not deny the fact that God made the laws. Does a loving God? What if people of Isreal were God's way? That can be done to God to kill kill and rape and kill have slaves and such? God of evil laws in the Old Testament God only shows how bad it's not like that He is love. So why call God of love?
Being a pagan who does not make a difference for me, I belieive this as a possibility that no one knows is right from theist to atheist. All what we can do is continue the debate on it. I doubt that will have an answer in our life time, though, but I wish I did because I want an answer to that great question. Is there a God? Many Gods? Or not gods? That's all I want to know 100% of one day. and if the foreigner is like LOL.
