Agree or disagree: The Horse and His Boy is the best story of the Narnia Chronicles?
Interesting that two of you so far liked The Voyage of the Dawntreader. I found it to be one of the lesser books in the series.
I liked the Horse and His Boy because I think the dialogue between characters was more mature and overall better written.
Disagree.
Reading The Last Battle literally brought me to tears. C.S Lewis wrote his best work in that one.

The Heap and the Terrorism in the Sacred Books
Before dealing with the topic of the Heap in Quran versus Bible versus sciences, it is mandatory to remember that the total words in the Bible are 788,280 while the total words in the Quran are 77,473. It follows that, the Bible is more than 10 times the Quran word-wise.
The Heap is mentioned 58 times in the Bible and three times in the Quran, i.e. the Bible mentions the Heap more than 19 times as does the Quran
In other words, the Bible has the potential of more than 10 times (word-wise) and more than 19 times (subject-wise) than the Quran to talk about the Heap.

The Heap in the Quran:
Although the Heap is mentioned three times in the Quran, however, the meanings of the three verses of the Heap are not found in the Bible. The Quran talks about the Human nature and behavior, The Last day in this life and the Heap in the Everlasting Life.
Human nature and behavior:
Surah: 3, Verse: 14
Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: women and sons; Heaped-up hoards of gold and silver; horses branded (for blood and excellence); and (wealth of) cattle and well-tilled land. Such are the possessions of this world’s life; but in nearness to Allah is the best of the goals (to return to).
The Last day in this life:
Surah: 73, Verse: 14
One Day the earth and the mountains will be in violent commotion. And the mountains will be as a Heap of sand poured out and flowing down.
The Heap in the Everlasting Life:
Surah: 8, Verse: 37
In order that Allah may separate the impure from the pure, put the impure, one on another, Heap them together, and cast them into Hell. They will be the ones to have lost.

I love the Chronicals of Narnia. You should watch the Second, fifth, and sixth original movies. They are the only ones made.
1)The main characters of the Horse and His Boy are Shasta who is a young boy who is raised by a fisherman and then is sold into a lifetime of servitude. Bree is a talking horse from Narnia who was captured at a young age and grew up in Servitude. Together him and Shasta decide to flee to Narnia. Along the way they meet Aravis who is running away from home to escape being married and her talking horse Hwin who is also from Narnia. The setting is in Narnia and does not feature children from the human world like the 6 other books. 2) Shasta faced the problem of being mistaken for the visting prince to Archenland. With the help of the real Prince Corin Shasta escapes. Together the four characters face the hard task of getting to Archenland to warn the people there that the Calormenes are coming to wage war on them. Aravis is punished for mistreating a former servant and Shasta has to continue to make the journey alone. Bree and Hwin stay with Aravis. Shasta finds out in the end of the book that he is really the long lost prince Cor who is the brother of Prince Corin. He and Aravis later marry and live in Archenland until they die. 3) Shasta learns who he really is in the end of the book and becomes a lot more braver than he originally was in the beginning of the book. He learns a lot about himself. 4) I liked everything about the book. 5) I wouldn’t change anything about the book at all. 6) I didn’t use any stragedy in reading the series. 7) I think I related most to Bree because like him I never took my mother’s advice on anything.
