whats your opinion on this Enron story in the houston chronicle?
the story is dated Nov. 2, 2007 and is titled “Shrunken Enron still has some fight left”, its about Enron Creditors Recovery Corp. taking legal action against Citigroup for screwing with some of Enron’s old special purpose entities and vehicles. enron want somthing like $3.5billion back, and wants to give it to some of the people they wronged.
enron has already given about $13billion back to its creditors. i think thats amazing considering that they owed like $60billion when they collapsed, and that the company was only worth like $3.5billion when they declared basnkruptcy.
but whats your opinion on this?

It’s good that Enron’s remaining staff has worked hard to recover billions to repay it’s creditors, in 2005 the company sued 11 banks and 9 of them have settled. Enron has a good chance to get Citigroup to pay up because looks like the bank did assist the former oil & gas company with some of it’s shady transactions.

Dawn Treader is also my favorite. Because of the different islands they stop at along the way, it reads like a book of adventure stories. All kinds of adventures, too: scary, suspensful, dramatic, and even funny.
